We are committed to the inspiration, inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture. The Scriptures in conjunction with the Holy Spirit, and the care of the church body are sufficient for spiritual growth and meeting all spiritual and emotional needs. We do not need to rely upon secular methods or philosophy to meet these needs. We are a Scripture-honoring church!

We seek to exalt and worship God in every aspect of our lives and especially in our corporate worship services. We provide an atmosphere of God centered worship where we can seek to experience the presence and reality of God in our midst as we respond, compelled by the Holy Spirit, with thanksgiving for all that He has done. We also have an expectation to hear from God through the preaching and teaching of His word. We are a Biblical-worshipping church!

We are committed to preaching and teaching the Bible. It brings the authority of God and the proven principles of God to bear in the believer’s life. We strive to teach the Bible through all of the ministries of our church to all of those who attend our church. We seek to teach the great doctrines of Scripture, such as, the Doctrines of Grace, God, Christ, sin, gospel, and others. We are a preaching and teaching church!

Christ’s mandate to make disciples, to baptize them, and to teach them all that Christ commanded, is the focal point of all that we do. We have an active discipleship ministry that strives to fulfill this great commission from our Lord. We are a disciple-making church!

We are committed to the biblical pattern for marriage and the family. The biblical standards for the husband, wife, and child rearing, are given regular emphasis and priority. We also periodically offer marriage enrichment groups and child rearing classes. We are a family-building church!

We believe in the power of prayer. We believe that our God hears and answers the prayers of His people. Prayer is an act of worship and humility by which we acknowledge our absolute dependency upon our heavenly Father for all things. We encourage our members to pray, teach our members how to pray, and give our members opportunities to pray. We are a praying church!

Every believer a minister is our goal. We are committed to, “the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry” and the operation of every believers spiritual gift. We emphasize the need for body ministry to take place and provide settings and opportunities for this to occur. We desire to see each one ministering as they are able. We are a body-ministering church!

Our church is committed to doing what Jesus commanded us to do, and that includes the practice of church discipline as found in (Matt 18:15-17). The purpose of discipline is the spiritual restoration of an erring member and the consequent strengthening of the church and glorifying of the Lord. We do this out of love for God and for His church. We are a church discipline-practicing church!

We seek to proclaim the true gospel which comes to us from the pages of Scripture. The Bible itself proclaims that all human beings are sinners who fall short of God’s standard for holiness. It further tells us that the penalty for our sin is both physical and spiritual death, and that the only remedy for our plight is found in the sacrifice of Jesus upon the cross.

“He who knew no sin became sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2Cor 5:21).

We proclaim that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone in the finished work of Christ. We proclaim that we can add nothing to the sovereign act of God’s grace that is responsible for our being saved. We are a gospel-proclaiming church!

We believe that God has told us in His Word the correct form and standards for the leadership over His church. That form is one of a plurality of elders, men who are to shepherd the flock of God, caring for God’s people as He has directed. The qualifications for elders are clearly set forth in Scripture as well as their duties and responsibilities. We are very blessed to have elders who love God, His Word and His church. We are a biblicaly-led church!
